WISE will back in January 2022!
Dear Students and Partner Universities,
Thank you for your interest in our winter program - Winter International Student Experience (WISE) 2021-2022.
Previously, our WISE program was a 2-week program specifically designed to provide students with the opportunity to deeply explore Korean Society, Winter Culture and study Korean. In 2020-2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided not to open the 2020-2021 WISE program for the safety of participants.
Today, we are very excited to inform you that the WISE will back in January 2022!
Since the current situation of COVID-19 is still unstable, we offer you a hybrid of online/offline WISE program. The 2022 WISE program is designed for international students, including overseas Koreans, with intermediate or advanced Korean skills. Most courses will be taught in Korean. Especially, students majoring in Korean language/Korean studies will have an opportunity to learn about Korea with Korea’s perspective.
In addition, there will be special lectures on career exploration for students preparing to get a job in Korea or enter graduate schools in Korea. The contents consist of a world of interpretation introduced by a current interpreter and tips for writing resume/cover letter and interview. Moreover, only applicants will be provided with an opportunity to exchange languages and do team projects. Special lectures and language exchange are provided free of charge.
